What do people think of Borla mufflers? Gas milage? Power? Sound? ......?? any info would help!

Way too expensive for the gains you will get. borla makes a high quality unit but they are known to be more restrictive as cheaper competitors. A lot of the time the power increases are minimum. In some cases power losses have been documented.

I have a Borla cat-back on my 2000 Z28... had it installed a few weeks ago. Granted that is an entirely different application, but it sounds GREAT and the car is definately faster than it was before...
 (as if it needed to be!) The quality of the Borla product is worth the $ IMHO. I paid $590 for the one on the Z....2001 Frontier XE 4x4 KC, Electric Blue

My experience has been that Borla makes a very good quality product with great sound, but the price is a bit high. If you're looking to save a few bucks you can get the muffler only, and have a shop fabricate the rest of the exhaust system for you.  Thom Wolfe | ||
