well i'm coming up to my first oil change on my fronty ,should i wait to my second oil change or go directly to synthetic oil ,do i need another few
thousand mile break in period before i use synthetic .

It totally doesn't matter on Nissans. Nissan goes to very detailed efforts with new motors: all the internals are micropolished and moly coated. There
is no "break in" actually happening with rings and journals and bearings, with the exception of the timing chain. My Used Oil Analysis of my truck
proves this beyond a doubt. The Al, Fe and Cr would be higher that first UOA if there was "break-in" happening like what is conventionally told to
us. So Drive it like you stole it from the start, because it is all good at mile 0.
If you are interested you can see all of my Used Oil Analysis here. I have used Mobil1 5w-30 ever since mile 3947. And after 72K and 11 Oil Changes I have no leaks on the motor (I do have one from the M226 rear end, but that is another thread).
